About KEYCERTO

KEYCERTO is a rhythm game played on your keyboard. Choose one-key, two-key or typing for each song, keep time with classical melodies, lively ragtime and original pieces, and letters and short stories are written onto the page as you play.

Bring in your own audio, including your original songs, and turn it into a playable song by adding rhythm and words. Record and edit the timing while listening, try it out, then save your song or exchange it as a .keycerto file.

The rest is yours to shape too: collect keyboard parts with the points you earn, unlock decorations for your stage by completing goals, and keep a record of each performance with certificates.

Ways to play

  1. One-key · Follow the beat — actual KEYCERTO development gameplay

    One-key

Play with a single input and put all of your attention on timing.

  2. Two-key · Divide the rhythm — actual KEYCERTO development gameplay

    Two-key

Split the rhythm between two inputs and keep both parts in time with the music.

  3. Typing · Play the words — actual KEYCERTO development gameplay

    Typing

Type the English text yourself, in time with the music. Wrong letters stay on the page as typos, and missed inputs leave gaps.

How to play

  1. Choose a song and a mode

Pick a song, then choose one-key, two-key or typing mode and a difficulty.

  2. Play in time

Keep your inputs on the beat as the music plays. In typing mode, type the English text in time. The page fills in as you go.

  3. Check your result

See your score and accuracy, collect certificates and try again for a better record.

  4. Add a song of your own

Import your audio, add rhythm and words, and try playing it. Save the finished song or exchange it as a .keycerto file.

Features

  • Play your own music

Give your music its own rhythm and words. Record or edit the timing, try playing it, and refine it into a song of your own. Finished songs can be exchanged as .keycerto files.

  • A page that fills as you play

Every input in time with the music adds to the page. By the end of a song, you have played your way through a letter or a short story.

  • Your keyboard, your stage

Spend the points you earn on housings and keycaps, then mix parts and colours. Complete goals to unlock decorations and arrange them on your stage.

  • Records and certificates

Collect certificates for each song and difficulty. In typing mode, wrong letters and missed inputs stay on the page as typos and gaps, so you can see exactly where to improve.
